According to a report from Engadget, Verizon (NYSE:VZ) denied rumors that the company would exclusively use Microsoft’s (NASDAQ:MSFT) Bing search engine on all of its Android devices. Verizon said the company has a relationship with Microsoft and Bing is the search engine on our multimedia phones. Engadget said this most likely means that Verizon will use Bing for its higher end products and its midrange handsets, while also using Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) as its main option for higher end handsets. SmarTrend is bullish on shares of Verizon Communications and our subscribers were alerted to buy on July 27, 2010 at $28.52. The stock has risen 8.3% since the alert was issued.
