Now days there are many search engines in the market may be xxxx amount of search engines available. Every search engines are specialized for something. And there are many general purpose search engines. Most famous search engines in market are Google, yahoo and Bing and also many other small search engines. But many people are confused about which one is better? Which one provides most accurate answer?
Now there is definite answer to that questions as all the search engines have there algorithm and their tactics to use while search the relevant data for user and presenting them in order of relevance.
Lets run a simple test on all of them:
I tried searching a dry cleaner from Sydney:
I get following result from all different search engines.
Now see the text version of results:
Google top results:
www.drycleanersweb.com.au/
www.lawrencedrycleaners.com.au
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dry_cleaning
and then I get local result which is near by me.
Yahoo result:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dry_cleaning
www.drycleaningcomplaints.com/index.html
Bing
www.pinstripe.net.au
www.lawrencedrycleaners.com.au
www.syndalsdrycleaners.com
Now compare the result.
I guess Google’s result is more accurate and useful to me as I am search for dry cleaners around my area and I want dry clean my cloths. And Google map is giving proper result which is nearby my place so I have local list of dry cleaners as well.
No doubt about the result that it will be manipulated by search engine optimization. Search engine optimization is technique to come as close as 1st position for particular terms and keywords. But Google can identify those efforts and also determine the usability of information to end suers and represent the result in that way.

I am new to all this and am realizing that if I threw money at all the different SEO companies we’ll be out of business in a week. Are there any honest website that give great SEO tips?
